Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

When she was in the middle of high school, Sasha came out as transgender. These were tough years and a lot of stress, however Sasha was confident that with the help from his family and friends he could handle anything. Jim and Sasha, both songwriters, have recently become an official duo, and they have performed at open mics and different venues around the city. The Voice coaches didn't discuss the past of Sasha, but Jim and he shared their story before they performed. Sasha began playing the guitar aged six. Jim and Sasha discussed their music tastes and shared stories about how they first met. Since his father is a professional music educator and musician, he was able to grasp the concept. Sasha faced identity issues in his youth, although he was a female. In an earlier post on Facebook, the 11-year old woman shared his thoughts and opened up about his struggles. Jim was filled with emotion when he shared his motives for not being capable of helping through these challenging circumstances. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, was born a girl. Sasha Allen's age will reach 19 by 2021. Sasha Allen began his transition to masculinity when he was just entering his first year of high school. Sasha is third trans person ever to be featured on the show wrote: "I feel so honored to represent the community of trans folks in such a significant way."
